Learning has always been a part of my life.

As a past professionally trained actor/director, I owned an acting coach business for seven years. Here, I worked with children and adults to harness the power of storytelling for success on the stage as well as in presentations, leadership, and management. Then, I brought my skills into the classroom and taught middle/high school and college students where I focused on creative, engaging, interactive, and real-word experiences. From there, I moved into the financial industry within banking and mortgage operations. Creating simulations to teach the process of multiple business lines were an exciting part of my job.

As a Learning Experience Designer (LED) with a Fortune 500 company in healthcare, I currently create curriculums and content that defy normal business standards in eLearning. Combined with my visual design background, professional voice acting, and penchant for out-of-the-box creativity, my focus is how to help business leaders identify learner needs and the tools to apply these concepts to their jobs. As learners question “What’s in it for me?” my eLearning catapults them into a world of engaging, interactive, and accessible learning that is both effective and fun.

In addition to working as an LED, I routinely coach and mentor aspiring Instructional Designers, transitioning teachers, and current IDs who are looking to further their skills.

I am currently accepting aspiring and current Instructional Designers who are looking for mentoring and training within the field.
